The International Board of Christian Care (IBCC) is a growing, vibrant, and recognized segment of the American Association of Christian Counselors, and is open to all qualified mental health professionals, pastors, chaplains, para-professionals, and lay counseling ministry leaders who identify themselves as Christian counselors, life coaches, and crisis responders.
 
Our credentials set the standard for excellence and integrity in the helping professions. Our goal is to serve Christian caregivers throughout the world in taking positive and tangible steps to develop the emerging professions of counseling, life coaching, and crisis responders, with a Christian foundation and perspective.

Our Mission: To serve professional caregivers throughout the world in recognizing their competence, ethical practice and distinctively Christian approach in their work and ministry with others.

Our Vision: To create and maintain a viable and comprehensive network for people seeking faith-based resources.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

  1. Moving forward, all IBCC certificates will be sent digitally only, this includes any renewals. This will be done automatically via email once your application has been approved, and the credential fee is paid. This digital certificate can be easily printed which can be displayed in your office or stored for your records. You will not receive a physical copy of your certificate and there will no longer be an IBCC ID Card issued for first time applicants nor renewals.
    a. If you would still prefer to receive a printed certificate and IBCC ID card by mail, we are happy to accommodate that request. However, please note the following fees and timeline:
    i. Printed Certificate and IBCC ID Card: $69
    ii. Shipping & Handling: Additional
    iii. Estimated Delivery Time: 4–6 weeks from request and payment confirmation
    b. To request a printed copy of your certificate and IBCC ID Card, please contact our department through email (ibcc@aacc.net) and we will guide you through the payment and processing steps.
  2. The IBCC will no longer accept checks as a form of payment for applications or credential fees. All fees will need to be paid online via a card.
